General Photography FAQ
Where are you located? Could you travel to me?
I am currently living in Austin TX, but I travel often for sessions! Consider my bags packed. 😉 Shoot me a message and let's plan this thang!
Note: that any sessions outside of Travis County of .25/per mile, round trip.
How many photos will I get?
Every session is unique, but it typically depends on how long we spend taking photos! More time typically means more photos.
Do you sell us prints of our images?
Prints are not included in any of my packages, only digital images are. BUT there is a quick and easy way for you to purchase professional prints. When you receive your images in your online gallery, you will be able to order directly on your gallery page and have them shipped right to your door. Easy peasy! :)
Will you photoshop my images if i requested that?
Nope, sorry! "Photoshopping" typically refers to any kind of retouching body/face change outside the regular zit-fix and stray hair, which is not in my alley. I do simple stray hair and pimple fix, only if necessary.
How long will it take to receive my images?
You'll have your online gallery delivered to you within 2 weeks after the session!
How far in advance do I need to book a session?
I always recommend booking as far in advance as you can, because the date you might be thinking of might already be taken or get taken! Other than that, I don't have a "recommended" time frame, so just shoot me a message and we can chat about it!
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Absolutely, if my schedule allows for it, I have no problem adjusting!
How will I receive my images?
You'll get your digital images delivered to you in an emailed link to an online gallery, where you can download your photos, share your gallery directly to social media, AND order prints!
Do you offer newborn or baby sessions?
Not anymore! I've decided to focus mainly on adult/senior portraits, weddings, and couples.
Do you use props in your sessions?
Not typically. Sometimes (specifically for family + senior sessions), I may bring a chair or blanket. But other than that, If you're interested in specific props, you will need to provide that.
What are your prices?
All the info you'll need is under my "investments" tab!
Do you require a deposit?
Yes! A 50% retainer is required in order to book your session. The remaining amount is due before your edited gallery is delivered.

YAY! Shoot me a message via the "Book Me" tab and I will be in touch!
If I am available for your wedding date, we will discuss any questions you might have. Once you're ready to book, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your wedding date. Once I’ve received that, your date is secured on my calendar and we can get this party started!
Please note, nothing is set in stone until I have a signed contract and retainer. The remaining 50% of the balance is due before your complete gallery is delivered.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! Give me a heads up and we can chat about it!
Do you shoot destination weddings?
It's a DREAM of mine to shoot destination weddings. I am willing to offer a special deal in which I would only charge for the price of travel/accommodation for two. If that sounds like a great idea for you, send me a message!
Do you offer videography?
I don't, BUT I have some great recommendations on videographers I've worked with before! Just let me know!
Do you have a second shooter?
I typically shoot weddings solo! In certain cases I bring along an assistant - usually it’s
my husband - to help me carry equipment, watch my bags, as well as a bodyguard (LOL) when leaving the venue for the night. He’s a wonderful guy, and you might just like him more than me!
In the future I do plan on incorporating a second shooter as an option for weddings.
What might planning for a wedding with you look like?
Contrary to popular belief, it takes much more planning than simply just showing up to the venue. I am able to do my best creative work when I'm in the loop! Keeping in touch with my couple is KEY. We'll be in touch during the wedding planning process, and I will be available for any help (and PRAYER!) you might need! Can't decide on a make-up look? Text meee. Looking for silly socks for the groomsmen? I'll send you some links. I'm totally ready to serve you any way I can!
By the wedding day, I will have already scouted locations out for portraits and educated myself on the details for the day.
Can I purchase all the photos from my wedding day, even if they are unedited?
I only deliver digitally retouched images, here’s why. In choosing me as your photographer, you are trusting me to both make decisions on which photos are the best, and edit to my highest standard of artistic quality. I cull through often times thousands of photos, and delete unflattering, duplicate, and blurry images. You won’t need the additional raw images since this culling is the first part of my process.
This saves you lots of time - I do all the work for you!
There may be a time gap between our wedding and the reception. Will that count towards our hours of coverage?
When you book me for your wedding, you're booking continuous hours of coverage. Typically I am shooting many different things in this gap of time.
The only occasions I may allow the hours of coverage to be broken up would be if your wedding is in the AM and your reception is in the PM, which is rare but has happened before.
How many photos will I get?
For a typical 6-8 hour wedding, you'll get anywhere from 400-700 photos. Every wedding is unique, so it always varies!
How many hours of coverage should I get?
A typical wedding will easily need 8 hours of coverage.
The typical 8 hour coverage will include from getting ready photos aaaall the way up to 30-60 mins after the dance floor fills up at your reception. To give as unbiased of an opinion as I can give, I highly, highly recommend an 8 hour package.
For small weddings, a 6 hour package could be a good option! If you're unsure, just message me and we can totally chat about what might work the best for you!
Can I extend my coverage the day of the wedding?
Absolutely! Additional hours will be $200/hr and will need to be paid before your final gallery is delivered!
